I think I got myself in trouble promising the Twerp a trip to Disneyland on her 5th birthday. She’s been talking about some of her classmates who went to Disneyland last Christmas holidays and she also wanted to go to Disneyland. Now. Right this moment. I said wait a minute. Going to Disneyland is expensive. I have plans to taking her there or to Universal Studios but I haven’t told her yet. Have to check my finances. So trying to buy myself some time, I said, well you can go to Disneyland when you’re five. She was happy with that and from then on, she would tell everyone she talks to that she would be going to Disneyland when she turns five. I didn’t realize, that would be in less than a year!
Now when I’m online, I’m always checking airfares on different airlines and hotel rates to get a ballpark figure of expenses. There are a lot of packages to Disneyland, even on sites that offer deals. You can find more packages here. All these deals and promos can get really confusing. I have to read all the fine print to see what’s included and what’s not. The travel dates on these deals are not always the dates I want. But I still have time.
I want everything organized in case it will just be the Twerp and myself. I’m not sure if Daddy can get a break because last Christmas holidays he was on duty. There are a lot of travel tips online and I’m creating my own based on our plans and needs. I’m getting really excited about our trip. I hope everything works out.

I heard before that they are going to build Disneyland here in the Philippines. If that happened, visiting disneyland will not that expensive anymore.

Better get ready for the trip! It’s kinda hard for us parent to see our kid’s heart break because of the broken promises we made.

I’ve always dreamed of bringing my kids to Disneyland as well! I guess we’ll just need to save up for it and prioritize expenses.
