I’m going to have to go way back to my childhood for my best birthday ever. My Mom always made it very special. I would always have a birthday party. We would go to Goldilocks in Laong Laan to choose my birthday cake. Then off to Three Kings in Quiapo to buy my birthday dress. On the day of my birthday, she would give me her gifts. It’s always more than one gift :) The build up to the special day left me very, very excited. My birthday party was attended by relatives and all my playmates who were neighbors and we all had so much fun.
As I grew up, birthdays were not celebrated as much. Now in my adulthood, I’m not really expecting much in terms of parties and celebrations but I hope to celebrate my coming birthdays simply with family all present. The best is yet to come!

I agree. The best birthdays are shared with loved ones. Thanks so much for stopping by and linking up for the Wild Wednesday Hop! Hope to see you back soon!
Cool birthday memories! Moms always give us the best birthdays! And yeah, I choose to celebrate my birthdays with just loved ones around. That makes it extra special.
Pareho tayo– the best is yet to come!
As for me, TURNING 28 ON THE 28th happens once in my life only, and so it was my best birthday ever!
WOW! some memories,huh?
It is always best for us to celebrate our birthday with family. Thanks for the visit
Nothing really beats childhood memories

Childhood birthday memories are the best. I was sad when my birthdays weren’t celebrated as much as I got older.
Beautiful pics, by the way. I have yet to visit the Philippines!
Hey,
Thanks for stopping by life with Twins and a Drama Queen. I’m now following you back
As we get older, material things during birthdays seem less and less important to us. i guess that’s a good sign, because we learn to value our family more during our special day
